Bill is an awesome realtor. He is extremely responsive, even if he’s out to dinner on a Friday night. He is very knowledgeable and gives honest, thoughtful advice but still respects that ultimately the decision is yours. We bought a fixer-upper so in between our option period and closing date, Bill graciously accompanied us to the house numerous times so we could meet with contractors, etc. He is also just a pleasure to work with and be around - kind, thoughtful, and funny. He handled most of our transaction, though we worked briefly with Andrew at one point as well and he was also quite responsive and helpful. Team Tolan is #1!

met Mr. Bill Tolan in 2007 when he helped my wife and I purchase our first home for our family. As a military family, and one that was new to the area, we could not have had a better advocate, we are absolutely grateful that we met him because he is fantastic! He took the time to show us dozens of homes without ever seeming agitated or tired of showing us houses. In fact, he was the first one to point out potential issues when we were blinded by our urgency to get into a home soon. Eventually we found a home we loved and he walked us through the whole process while we were in a different state! When it was time to sell our home in 2010 (because of military orders) he told us it was not the best time to sell due to the housing downturn and convinced us to consider renting our home out for a while. He could have sold our home and pocketed his commission, but instead he looked out for our best interests…again. He’s a genuinely trustworthy and great guy that also happens to be a realtor. Finally, when we did decide to sell our home in 2017, he took care of EVERYTHING. Our family was living in another part of the country and flying back and worth would have been incredibly expensive. He understood the dynamics at play and told us not to worry. He coordinated all our repairs, inspections, and upgrades and ensured it was all done correctly. He even took care of our lawncare/landscaping and spoke to us regularly to keep us in the loop on everything that was happening. We are grateful that Bill and Andrew were there to help us and I HIGHLY recommend you give them a call if you are ever in need of a realtor!

My husband and I have had the pleasure to work with Bill as we purchased our newly built home. We first heard about Bill through my mother since he had helped my parents purchase their home. My mother insisted that if we were going to buy a house, call Bill! From start to finish, Bill was consistently a part of the process and helped us get our closing costs payed for by the builder due to a mistake they had made. Whenever we needed him or had a question since we were first time homebuyers, he was there! Overall, Mr. Tolan was a great realtor that I would recommend to anyone. His positive attitude, his willingness to make sure you get what you want, and knowledge in the real estate business just made it so easy to work with him to get our perfect home. Bill was a life saver to me through the process of selling my house. His advice on the updates to the interior to make the house nicer were spot on. It had been rented out so it needed changes. Bill worked with the burgers agent and got the house sold as quick as possible. If I ever want to buy or sell another home Bill would be the one I would call.

I’ve bought and sold 3 houses with Bill Tolan. He’s the only realtor I’d use in San Antonio, Texas! Bill was always available for questions (even on vacation)—very professional, thorough and focused, but easy to talk to and approachable. Bill is almost like family! SEEK him out in San Antonio!

Bill came to the rescue when we fired a realtor that wasn't working for us. He promptly showed us homes in the neighborhood we wanted to be in and we made an offer that day. He was incredibly generous to help with some of the issues in the inspection that the sellers wouldn't fix. Ultimately, he made a stressful purchase more enjoyable.

Bill is just super in every way! He’s just a pleasure. So kind. Most realtors know the job well enough, but Bill really KNOWS the area, understood our situation with a very rushed military move, never made us feel bad for wanting to see a bit more- just the opposite actually. He really wanted to make sure we felt 100% right about a big decision in a stressful event. We’ve maintained contact with Bill and would recommend him hands down to anyone.

My wife and I have had the privilege of working with Bill Tolan on 3 separate occasions. The first time, we sold a house that wasn’t in the best of shape. Heeding Bill’s recommendations we were able to close the deal. We were happy to use Bill again when we came back to the San Antonio area and wanted to buy another house. We got everything we wanted with this house. Unfortunately, we were forced to move again about a year later. It was a no-brainer giving Bill a call for this. At this time, his son Andrew was working with him. Our house had a contract on it within 24 hours. We were ecstatic! At each opportunity Bill acted in our best interests and we’ve been very pleased with each outcome. It is no doubt that if we ever need a realtor in the San Antonio area, Bill will get our business.
