Bill is an awesome realtor. He is extremely responsive, even if he’s out to dinner on a Friday night. He is very knowledgeable and gives honest, thoughtful advice but still respects that ultimately the decision is yours. We bought a fixer-upper so in between our option period and closing date, Bill graciously accompanied us to the house numerous times so we could meet with contractors, etc. He is also just a pleasure to work with and be around - kind, thoughtful, and funny. met Mr. Bill Tolan in 2007 when he helped my wife and I purchase our first home for our family. As a military family, and one that was new to the area, we could not have had a better advocate, we are absolutely grateful that we met him because he is fantastic! He took the time to show us dozens of homes without ever seeming agitated or tired of showing us houses. In fact, he was the first one to point out potential issues when we were blinded by our urgency to get into a home soon. Eventually we found a home we loved and he walked us through the whole process while we were in a different state! When it was time to sell our home in 2010 (because of military orders) he told us it was not the best time to sell due to the housing downturn and convinced us to consider renting our home out for a while. He could have sold our home and pocketed his commission, but instead he looked out for our best interests…again. He’s a genuinely trustworthy and great guy that also happens to be a realtor. Finally, when we did decide to sell our home in 2017, he took care of EVERYTHING. Our family was living in another part of the country and flying back and worth would have been incredibly expensive. He understood the dynamics at play and told us not to worry. He coordinated all our repairs, inspections, and upgrades and ensured it was all done correctly. He even took care of our lawncare/landscaping and spoke to us regularly to keep us in the loop on everything that was happening. My wife and I have had the privilege of working with Bill Tolan on 3 separate occasions. The first time, we sold a house that wasn’t in the best of shape. Heeding Bill’s recommendations we were able to close the deal. We were happy to use Bill again when we came back to the San Antonio area and wanted to buy another house. Bill is just super in every way! He’s just a pleasure. So kind.
